Within our Service Department, an exciting and diverse position has become available for a multi-skilled Service & Installation Technician for immediate start.
You will be responsible for:
Working as part of our Marketing team in the creation of marketing campaigns and visual communication collateral
Operation, service and repair of moving lights, architectural lighting fixtures & commercial LED screens
Trouble shooting and identifying faults with the products and determining quickly the best course of action
Liaising with trade customers to organise faulty product repairs and returns
Liaising with suppliers to ensure up-to-date knowledge on changing product portfolio and technologies
Providing over the phone troubleshooting advice and resolutions
Effectively administrating records for the service departments
Ensuring timely and accurate repairs
Out of business hours on call support may be required
Our Key Requirements:
Functional & practical experience in the operation of general electronics
Experience within a dynamic service and repair-oriented department
Possess trade cards & certifications relevant to the industry e.g. White card, test & tag, working at heights, scissor lift operation, boom, etc.
Excellent communication skills, strong problem solving capability
Proactive and reliable team member
Exceptional phone manner
Advanced PC skills – MS office
Great time management & attention to detail
Current drivers license and passport
Available for interstate and overseas travel when required
You will be based at ULA Group Port Melbourne office and reporting to the National Service Manager.
