ISE Best of Show Award
Astera’s new QuikBeam luminaire – launched at last week’s Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) expo staged at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain – also won a Best of Show Award at the show.
This was within the TVBEurope category … which recognises standout, innovative broadcast-grade AV products and solutions that were on the show floor in Barcelona.
The ISE Best of Show Awards are judged by a panel of industry experts and editorial teams. Each award submission is reviewed based on the product’s feature set, ease of use, innovation, and uniqueness within the market.
Renowned for their ingenuity and flair, industry-leading wireless LED lighting manufacturer Astera launched QuikBeam as a new member of its ‘QuikFamily’. The luminaire is designed and engineered to deliver maximum intensity in the smallest, lightest and most robust form factor!
Usable in any lighting scenario, QuikBeam is in a class of its own; a super bright, rapidly deployable, fresnel lensed fixture with 13 – 60º zoom, complete with swappable batteries, practical plug-and-play functionality … AND all the performance, perfect colour mixing, quality and high CRI / TLCI of Astera’s outstanding Titan LED Engine.
QuikBeam is ultimately flexible and portable thanks to several new smart features introduced by the Astera R&D team, including QuikBrick, a replaceable / swappable battery system, which saves wait time for fixtures to charge.
PoE (Power over Ethernet) connectivity over EtherCON enables streamlined installations with combined power and data over a single cable, running up to 100 metres / 328 ft, perfect for remote prepping and sACN / ArtNet control for shows and events.
The versatile zoom with an extra narrow beam, HotBeam, delivers clean, highly defined beams, which are ideal for precise uplighting, accenting or the highlighting of features and set pieces.
The ISE Awards’ editorial team commented on how “impressed” they were by the excellence and scope of this year’s entrants, adding that being recognised as ‘Best of Show at ISE’ is a true testament to the hard work and dedication that winning companies have put into their products and solutions. “Every winner should be really proud of their accomplishments,” they concluded.

QuikBeam has been developed following extensive feedback from lighting designers, DoPs, technicians, installers, rental houses – where quick turnarounds are essential – and venues, bringing multiple new levels of flexibility and workflow efficiency to all professional lighting setups.
